A Bit of History

Old Style Farming Techniques For A New Generation

Prudom Farms has been a staple in the Niagara and Orleans County produce and livestock market since the days of the Holland Land Company. Our ancestors started the first grange and co-op in the area, and I guess you can say we have been hooked ever since! For over 100 years we have brought Western NY the finest agricultural goods the area has to offer, making a large variety of fresh local food accessible to everyone at an affordable price.
We currently grow all types of heirloom vegetables, berries and heritage livestock on our family owned farm as well as run a growers cooperative consisting of like-minded farmers to bring you the largest variety possible in one place. We start in the spring with asparagus and rhubarb and finish with pumpkins, winter squash and potatoes. We also have a cold storage partner to bring you quality local produce all winter and into spring!
Here at Prudom Farms we also pride ourselves on promoting and educating our customers on local food & business, natural growing methods, as well as the locavore movement.

We are also the sponsors and managers of the Middleport Community Farmers Market a New York State Food Nutrition Program Certified Market and USDA certified Farmers Market. Prudom Farms is certified by the USDA & NY Ag& Mkt - We gladly accept WIC (canned/fresh/frozen coupon), FMNP/SFMNP Farm Market Checks, Credit (MC, Visa, Disc and Am Ex) and Debit Cards.
